IFS Applications 10 support end dates (2027/2028)
IFS Applications 10 support: the key dates for 2027 and 2028
IFS has updated its Extended Support Terms (document version Feb-26, updated 4 February 2026). They set out how long customers on IFS Applications 10 can keep getting support while they move to IFS Cloud.
Who this applies to The special Apps 10 terms apply to customers who have bought IFS Cloud and are upgrading to it from IFS Applications 10.
The dates
- Extended Support for Apps 10 started on 28 March 2025 (the date IFS gives as current). It runs for a maximum of 2 years, which takes it to 27 March 2027.
- If you have not finished the upgrade by 27 March 2027 but can show an active IFS Cloud upgrade and migration plan, support can continue until the end of Extended Support for Apps 10, currently 27 March 2028.
- In both cases, support ends earlier if you go live on IFS Cloud, or if your maintenance or subscription term ends first.
What Extended Support includes It is narrower than standard support. Under the terms, IFS:
- accepts and works on security vulnerabilities and demonstrated errors;
- resolves Severity 1 and 2 cases only, possibly with a temporary workaround, and does not have to backport fixes from later versions;
- does not build new legal, statutory or localization functionality, and only fixes existing statutory features where they fail to work as documented;
- certifies new platforms where needed, may release service updates less often, and provides no new translations.
Other products in the same terms
- IFS FSM 6: Extended Support from 1 February 2026 for up to 2 years; with an active upgrade plan, until 31 January 2029.
- IFS Alliance 15.4: Extended Support from 1 October 2026 for up to 2 years; with an active upgrade plan, until 30 September 2029. The document does not set dates for IFS Applications 9, 8 or earlier, or for IFS Cloud release windows.
What Apps 10 customers can do now
- Check your own order form and maintenance or subscription term, because the earliest end date applies.
- If go-live on IFS Cloud will come after 27 March 2027, make sure a documented, active upgrade and migration plan is in place before then.
- Watch for new legal and localization changes in your countries, since Extended Support will not deliver them; IFS says such work needs a separate paid engagement.
